A season for rejoicing, here in Colorado the first ski areas have opened, before Thanksgiving, and yes, as you can see from the book cover reproduced above, I have my own reasons for rejoicing. All summer I have been thinking hard about ski teaching, and ski learning, putting the finishing touches on the manuscript of a new ski book, Soft Skiing Down Hard Slopes. My best ski-instruction book yet for sure. This coming winter I will be photographing all the illustrations so the book itself won't be out until next year. But I am still planning to publish excepts on this web site, this winter.
